I have taken the Graduate New Media Certification as a natural compliment to my studies in Dramatic Media and Performance Studies with a focus on extended reality (XR) applications for the performance of historical reenactments.
All of the projects in this certificate will be/are in some way related to performance. Many of these projects will seek to interact with audience members in a live theatre setting or will present prepackaged material that audiences will be able to manipulate into their own digital stories.
I am dedicated to finding new ways of storytelling or revisiting the old in a new format so that the users of this media can find themselves in digital narratives, create their own original stories and find community among those who previously lacked a mediatized voice.
